Get a wallet in five minutes
A wallet is a free app that holds your money and gives you an address to receive support at, like an email address for payments.
1. Get the wallet
Pick the network you want to use. You can use both.
Solana
Phone app and browser extension. It can pay the network fee for you in many cases, so you may not need any SOL.
Base
Coinbase Wallet
RecommendedPhone app and browser extension, with Base built in.
Install only from the official site above or your phone's app store. Never from a link someone sends you.
2. Back up your wallet
Every wallet has a way back in if you lose your phone. Some let you sign in with Google or a passkey. Others show you a recovery phrase of 12 or 24 words. Whichever yours uses, set it up now. If it's Google, protect that account with two-step sign-in.
If you get a recovery phrase, write it on paper and keep it offline. It is your money: anyone who has it can take everything, and nobody can recover it for you. Never type it into a website or share it, and no real support person will ever ask.
3. Copy your address
Your address is safe to share. On Solana it's a long string of letters and numbers; on Base it's a code starting with 0x. Paste it into your Buy Me Tokens page and double-check every character.
4. Get some USDC (only to send support)
USDC is a digital dollar issued by Circle. One USDC is meant to always be worth one US dollar.
- Receiving support? You don't need to buy anything. Once you have your address, you're set. A small test payment first is a smart check.
- Sending support? Buy USDC in your wallet or on an exchange that works in your country, then send it to your wallet.
- Pick the right network when you withdraw (Solana or Base). USDC sent on the wrong network can be lost for good.
Options depend on your country. This isn't financial advice.
