Why we built this
Devs build things people use and love. Supporting that work should be as easy as saying thanks.
The idea
Every day, developers ship tools, libraries and experiments that other people rely on. The thanks usually arrives as a star or a like. That's nice, but there was no simple way for someone who loves a project to do more, and nothing that helps the dev build the next one.
Why tokens
AI tokens are what builders run on now, so we made support about them. When you chip in, you're fueling a dev's next build. You send money, and they choose how to spend it. "Tokens" is the idea, not a unit.
Support, your way
- Chip in. Pick an amount and you're done.
- Or support for free. Star, follow or share. It all counts.
- No asking. A support page just sits there, ready for whoever wants to say thanks.
Why we started with USDC
We wanted to ship this fast and keep it fun, without waiting on banks, paperwork or a big corporate setup. USDC let us start right away: support goes straight from a supporter to the dev, and it just works.
It's the first way to support a dev, not the only one. We'll keep adding more, so it gets easier for everyone to be supported.
How support reaches devs
USDC on Solana or Base, sent straight to the developer's own wallet. No bank or company needed on either side.
- We never hold the money. It goes from the supporter's wallet to the dev's.
- We take no cut. $25 sent is $25 received, minus the tiny network fee.
- Every payment is checked. We look at the blockchain, not the browser: the right amount of real USDC must reach the right wallet, and a payment is never counted twice.
